Location: close to the Sagano JR line (1 stop from Kyoto Station) or 20-30 min walk to Kyoto Station. The half-board was worth it with the 1st night being an all you can eat wagyu menu and the 2nd night a kaiseki dinner. Both were very filling and good. Breakfast, though did not differ much in both days, still had a great selection of food. The staff were very hospitable, kind, and attentive. The room was clean, quiet, and very relaxing. The sento was also very clean and relaxing. During my 2 night stay, was only busy during the late evening. And finally, the view from both the room's balcony and the rooftop was great. It rained during the 2nd day, which cut much of my outdoor plans out, but I couldn't even complain as I ended up relaxing in the sento and in the quiet rooms. Will definitely stay here again in the future.

The location is just next to the train station, and also near the bus stop. I met an intern ( I remember her name is Ms. Kurogawa) when I checked-in, she talked with me in very fluent Chinese after she realized I came from Taiwan; That was very surprising me. The other employee also speak good English or Chinese so I think it's very considerable for foreign visitors. Their breakfast and dinner are great that I would like try again next time. The recreation rooms, sento, and fermentation plant are worth spending time if you just want take a relax indoor. In a brief, this is a nice place!

Great hotel room with amenities. The hotel has extended drink hours for free beer and wine and also coffee hours. However, the catch is you have to make your own pour over coffee, which takes a lot of time and effort. We didn’t have their breakfast since it was pretty pricey. Love the water and ice stations throughout the hotel floors. There was also book room and kids game rooms which we did not use. The pants and top that was provided for lounging was extra comfortable. We didn’t use the onsen, but that’s also a nice feature.

The free coffee and drinks, all the little extra rooms for hanging out. The bedrooms were spacious and very comfortable but we made use of the music room and library too. Sense of calm throughout, beautiful views through all windows and located next to a park for the kids to explore. We love this hotel. The hotel is super stylish yet completely comfortable and home like. The staff are excellent. Cannot fault this place, plus it was my first Japanese onsen- wow- I went everyday and loved it.

Didn't have breakfast but went to the local Lawsons. Room size was great, beds were very comfortable and we had a small balcony, which was great. The free drinks from 15:00 - 22:00 were a real bonus. Great view from the roof top and great for train spotting the shinkansens. The onsen was great - I was always lucky enough to go in when it was always nearly empty.
